As a vertical conveying equipment, the plate chain elevator is widely used in electric power, chemical industry, building materials and other industries because of its high efficiency, low energy consumption, capable people and reliable operation. It is used for vertical conveying of bulk and powder materials. Here is a brief description of its daily inspection and maintenance.


1. The structure of the plate chain hoist


The plate chain elevator consists of the following parts. The first is the lower machine base, the second is the middle shell, and the third is the machine head shell. The machine head shell and the machine base are respectively equipped with a lower sprocket and an upper sprocket, and the upper sprocket shaft is connected with the reducer and the motor. It is used to drive the sprocket to rotate and drive the chain mounted on it to move. With the circulation of the chain, the bucket mounted on it transports the material from the low end to the high end and discharges it. The lower part of the hoist is provided with a tensioning device to prevent the loosening of the chain, and a backstop is installed on the reducer to prevent reverse when the material is stopped.


 Starting from the tail can be described as follows:


1. First observe whether there is dust leakage, secondly check whether the bearing is lubricated in place, whether there are other abnormalities, and then see whether the tensioning device is flexible or whether the tensioning degree is appropriate, listen to whether the sound of the bearing and sprocket is normal, and whether the height of the bearing seats on both sides is the same, etc. .


2. Listen to whether the chain and bucket have friction knocking, whether the intermediate shell is ash, wear through, and check whether each anti-swing support or floor has de-soldering or other failures.


3. The head part firstly checks the motor and the transmission part of the reducer to see if the vibration and temperature exceed the standard, whether the sound is normal, whether the lubrication is in place, whether the support of the reducer is reliable, and whether the anchor bolts are loose.


4. When the machine stops or has conditions, check the wear of the upper and lower sprockets, chains and chain buckets, check whether the bolts of the chain buckets are loose, and judge whether they need to be adjusted.


5. Other inspections. Always check whether the hoist is returning material, whether the feeding and discharging are smooth, whether the chain bucket is rubbing against the bottom of the lower casing, and whether the operating current of the hoist is normal, etc.


3. Maintenance of plate chain elevator


Although the chain hoist operates stably, necessary maintenance must be done, mainly reminding the following aspects.


1. When it is found that the running current is unstable or high, check whether the equipment vibrates too much, beyond the support range, find out the cause of the vibration, and deal with it; check whether the incoming material is stable, if it is unstable, the cause should be found out , to be processed. Check whether there is a hanging bucket, the chain does not match the sprocket, if so, it needs to be corrected, and the adjustment chain is consistent with the sprocket. Check whether the bearing of the synchronous adjustment sprocket of the lower sprocket is damaged and stuck, if necessary Flexibility for bearings.


2. Abnormal noise in the hoist is generally caused by the looseness of the chain bucket, the skewed hanging shell, the failure of tensioning, the disconnection of the chain and the lower sprocket, and the scraping of the bottom of the bucket. The chain bucket should be tightened and corrected, and the tensioning device should be adjusted or even cut off. chain. At the same time, check whether there is any agglomeration or foreign matter in the lower casing. If there is, it must be removed.


3. The meshing of the sprocket and the chain is unstable, which is generally caused by the serious wear of the sprocket or the chain and the failure of the synchronous sprocket. At this time, the synchronous sprocket must be handled well to keep it effective, and the worn sprocket and chain must be replaced if necessary.


4. The anti-swing support in the middle of the shell fails. The intermediate anti-swing support refers to the support set up to ensure the stability and verticality of the hoist shell, which can not only ensure the free movement of the hoist shell but also limit the position of the shell. , Reinforce the support to ensure that the shell is both vertical and movable.


5. Transmission vibration. Transmission vibration is generally caused by bearing damage, loose anchor bolts, coupling misalignment, gear damage and other reasons. Accompanied by abnormal noise, if the anchor bolts are loose, the equipment will shake or change in position, and the vibration caused by the coupling can be re-aligned and aligned according to the vibration parameters in each direction.


6. Vibration and abnormal noise of the upper sprocket, the vibration of the upper sprocket may come from the damage of the support bearing, the inaccurate meshing of the sprocket and the chain, the looseness of the anchor bolts, the alignment of the coupling, etc., you can refer to the above analysis to arrange deal with.


7. Handling when the material is stopped. When the hoist stops with material, sometimes it cannot be started directly. At this time, the reason should be found out. If the load is too heavy, the auxiliary transmission can be used to unload the material first, and then the main transmission can be started. , if not, the auxiliary transmission and the main transmission can be started at the same time. When it starts, the auxiliary transmission is stopped immediately. If it still cannot start, the hood can be lifted, and the chain can be turned by the reverse chain, the maintenance bracket or the auxiliary transmission. The material is unloaded and then started again. Do not loosen the backstop to unload the material, it is very dangerous. It is an ideal method if it can be started by means of oil replenishment of the fluid coupling.


8. Lubrication at the hoist outlet. Lubrication is an important part of equipment maintenance. Regular and quantitative oil replenishment of bearings, reducers, couplings, backstops, etc. should be checked. When the reducer leaks oil, it should be sealed according to the cause and location of the oil leakage, and at the same time ensure the unblocking of the vent hole.


9. The oil leakage of the coupling, the oil leakage of the coupling is mostly caused by the damage of the shaft head seal and the loose plugging wire of the fuel filler. It can be repaired and replaced, or the plugging wire is tightened, etc. If the coupling directly throws oil out, it should be The hoist is overloaded or the internal damage of the coupling is caused. If the load is caused, replace the fusible plug and refuel. If the coupling is damaged, the coupling must be overhauled, or even better.


10. Other aspects. In the maintenance process of the hoist, attention should also be paid to the maintenance method and quality. For example, the parallelism of the upper and lower sprockets, the center coincidence, the tightness of the tension, and the alignment of the coupling should all meet the requirements of the manual to ensure that The operation accuracy of the equipment is the only way to ensure the equipment's energy saving, reliability, stability, parts life and reduce operating costs.
